The Judgment is Come

"And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Revelation 14:6-7

Jesus comes to give out rewards.
Revelation 22:12   "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

Jesus picture Judgment as future.
Matthew 12:36   "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."

Job believe that there is Judgment.
Job 19:25-26, 29   "For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth:  And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God:"... " Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, that ye may know [there is] a judgment."

Paul preached Judgment to come to Felix.
Acts 24:25   "And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee."

God appointed day for Judgment.
Acts 17:31   "Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by [that] man whom he hath ordained; [whereof] he hath given assurance unto all [men], in that he hath raised him from the dead."

Judgment set, books opened.
Daniel 7:9-10  " I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.  A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened."

God bring every secret thing into Judgment.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14   "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil."

Law as the standard in Judgment.
James 2:8-12  "If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.  For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."

All things open to God.
Hebrews 4:13   "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do."

Judgment begins at house of God or church of God.
1 Peter 4:17   "For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?"

Judgment to dead is come.
Revelation 11:18-19   "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.  And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

All to appear before Judgment seat of God.
2 Corinthians 5:10   "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad."

All must give account to God.
Romans 14:12   "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

Basis of Judgment is the book of life or record in heaven.
Revelation 20:12   "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

Our names are written in heaven.
Luke 10:20   "Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."

Our names are in the book of life.
Philippians 4:3   "And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and [with] other my fellowlabourers, whose names [are] in the book of life."

Every one delivered who are found in the book of life.
Daniel 12:1   "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

All iniquities marked before God.
Jeremiah 2:22   "For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap, [yet] thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD."

All our words and actions open or secret are recorded in the book of remembrance.
Malachi 3:16  "Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name."

Holy angels are the one who record what we do or say.
Ecclesiastes 5:6  "Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?.

Matthew 18:10 "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

Our life is recorded in heaven.
Job 16:19   "Also now, behold, my witness [is] in heaven, and my record [is] on high."

Our good deeds are also recorded.
Nehemiah 13:14   "Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof."

There is also a record of sins of men.
Ecclesiastes 12:14   "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil."

Every idle words are recorded.
Matthew 12:36-37   "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."

Even hidden things, purposes or motives are recorded.
1 Corinthians 4:5   "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God."

Our iniquities and our fathers’ sins are also recorded.
Isaiah 65:6-7  "Behold, [it is] written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,  Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom."

Our steps or ways, transgressions and iniquities are also recorded.
Job 14:16-17   "For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?  My transgression [is] sealed up in a bag, and thou sewest up mine iniquity."

Even our tears or emotions are recorded.
Psalm 56:8   "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: [are they] not in thy book?"

If we repent, our sins will be blotted out in the book.
Acts 3:19   "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:"

Some sins open beforehand going before the Judgment.
1 Timothy 5:24   "Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some [men] they follow after."

Only God can blot out our sins.
Isaiah 43:25  " I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins."

Whoever sinned against God will He blot out of book of life.
Exodus 32:32-33   "Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.  And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book."

If any sin not repented before judgment, all his good deeds will be erased and name will be blot out on the book of life.
Ezekiel 18:24  "But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, [and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked [man] doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die."

Prolonged sentence on wicked makes the heart of men set to do evil.
Ecclesiastes 8:5-6  "Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment. Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man [is] great upon him."
Ecclesiastes 8:11-13   "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.  Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his [days] be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:  But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong [his] days, [which are] as a shadow; because he feareth not before God."

God will forgive and remember our sin no more.
Jeremiah 31:34   "And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

God will pardon us.
Isaiah 50:20   "In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and [there shall be] none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve."

If we overcome, our names will remain in the book of life.
Revelation 3:5   "He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."

We must confess Christ before men not to deny else He will also deny us.
Matthew 10:32-33   "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
10:33   But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Let’s confess our sins to Christ.
1 John 1:9   "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

One meaning of blasphemy is when a man professing to be God who can forgive sin. e.g. Confession to a Priest
1 John 5:21   "And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

A broken spirit is needed while Judgment is taking place in heaven.
Psalm 51:17   "The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."

When we receive Christ we will not be condemned in Judgment.
Romans 8:1   "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Jesus is now in heaven pleading for our case.
Hebrews 9:24  "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:"

Jesus as our High Priest and intercessor in heaven.
Hebrews 7:24-25   "But this [man], because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.  Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

Jesus as our advocate with the Father.
1 John 2:1   "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

Jesus as our Mediator between God and men.
1 Timothy 2:5   "For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

Holy Spirit as our comforter and teacher who will teach us all things.
John 14:26   "But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

If we reject this teaching, we commit the unpardonable sin.
Matthew 12:31   "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come."

We must take the kingdom by force using our will power.
Matthew 11:12   "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

We must work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:12-13   "Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure."

Many people will not be saved for they don’t prepare for the harvest or judgment.
Jeremiah 8:20   "The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved."

We must prepare and seek Him while probation is still open.
Isaiah 55:6   "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:"

We will be glad and rejoice when God returns to save us.
Isaiah 25:9   "And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this [is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this [is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation."

"Sad will be the retrospect in that day when men stand face to face with eternity. The whole life will present itself just as it has been. The world's pleasures, riches, and honors will not then seem so important. Men will then see that the righteousness they despised is alone of value. They will see that they have fashioned their characters under the deceptive allurements of Satan. The garments they have chosen are the badge of their allegiance to the first great apostate. Then they will see the results of their choice. They will have a knowledge of what it means to transgress the commandments of God.
There will be no future probation in which to prepare for eternity. It is in this life that we are to put on the robe of Christ's righteousness. This is our only opportunity to form characters for the home which Christ has made ready for those who obey His commandments.
The days of our probation are fast closing. The end is near. To us the warning is given, "Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares." Luke 21:34. Beware lest it find you unready. Take heed lest you be found at the King's feast without a wedding garment.
     "In such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." "Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." Matt. 24:44; Rev. 16:15.  {COL 318-319.}

Luke 21:34   "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares."

Matthew 24:44   "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh."

Revelation 16:15   "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."

Revelation 3:4   "Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy."

Matthew 22:11-12   "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:  And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless."

"By the king's examination of the guests at the feast is represented a work of judgment. The guests at the gospel feast are those who profess to serve God, those whose names are written in the book of life. But not all who profess to be Christians are true disciples. Before the final reward is given, it must be decided who are fitted to share the inheritance of the righteous. This decision must be made prior to the second coming of Christ in the clouds of heaven; for when He comes, His reward is with Him, "to give every man according as his work shall be." Rev. 22:12. Before His coming, then, the character of every man's work will have been determined, and to every one of Christ's followers the reward will have been apportioned according to his deeds.
It is while men are still dwelling upon the earth that the work of investigative judgment takes place in the courts of heaven. The lives of all His professed followers pass in review before God. All are examined according to the record of the books of heaven, and according to his deeds the destiny of each is forever fixed.
By the wedding garment in the parable is represented the pure, spotless character which Christ's true followers will possess. To the church it is given "that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white," "not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing." Rev. 19:8; Eph. 5:27. The fine linen, says the Scripture, "is the righteousness of saints." Rev. 19:8. It is the righteousness of Christ, His own unblemished character, that through faith is imparted to all who receive Him as their personal Saviour.  {COL 310.3}

Revelation 19:8   "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."

Ephesians 5:27   "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

Revelation 3:18  "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see."

Isaiah 64:6   "But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

Jesus to take away our sins.
1 John 3:5   "And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin."

1 John 3:4   "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Jesus our righteousness.
1 Corinthians 1:30   "But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:"

God's law must be within our hearts.
Psalm 40:8   "I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart."

By keeping His commandments, we abide in His love.
John 15:10   "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."

"These are the words of God to us. The past is contained in the book where all things are written. We cannot blot out the record; but if we choose to learn them, the past will teach us its lessons. As we make it our monitor, we may also make it our friend. As we call to mind that in the past which is disagreeable, let it teach us not to repeat the same error. In the future let nothing be recorded which will cause regret in the by and by. We may now avoid a bad showing. Every day we are making our history. Yesterday is beyond our amendment or control; today only is ours. Then let us not grieve the Spirit of God today, for tomorrow we shall not be able to recall what we have done. Today will then be yesterday." 6T 149.

"Our names may be called in a little while, and there will be none to answer. Let that life be hid in God, and that name be registered in heaven, and it is immortalized. Follow on wherever Christ leads the way, and let the footprints which you leave behind you on the sands of time be such that others may safely follow in the path of holiness." 1 SM 168.
