In 1903 GC session, the leaders voted to directly go against God. “A New Constitution was passed in General Conference contrary to the principle of God.” (2PRC 437).

Just two weeks after the SDA church decided to apostatize and depart completely from Christ, God Himself declared the SDA church to be the harlot of Babylon.
“Our position in the world is not what it should be. We are far from where we should have been had our Christian experience been in harmony with the light and the opportunities given us, had we from the beginning constantly pressed onward and upward. Had we walked in the light that has been given us, had we followed on to know the Lord, our path would have grown brighter and brighter. But many of those who have had special light are so conformed to the world that they can scarcely be distinguished from worldlings. They not stand forth as God's peculiar people, chosen and precious. It is difficult to discern between him that serveth God and him that serveth Him not.
“In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: "Found wanting." By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged…”
“The heavenly Teacher inquired: "What stronger delusion can beguile the mind than the pretense that you are building on the right foundation and that God accepts your works, when in reality you are working out many things according to worldly policy and are sinning against Jehovah? Oh, it is a great deception, a fascinating delusion, that takes possession of minds when men who have once known the truth, mistake the form of godliness for the spirit and power thereof; when they suppose that they are rich and increased with goods and in need of nothing, while in reality they are in need of everything…"
“Who can truthfully say: "Our gold is tried in the fire; our garments are unspotted by the world"? I saw our Instructor pointing to the garments of so-called righteousness. Stripping them off, He laid bare the defilement beneath. Then He said to me: "Can you not see how they have pretentiously covered up their defilement and rottenness of character? 'How is the faithful city become an harlot!' My Father's house is made a house of merchandise, a place whence the divine presence and glory have departed!"

The above statement that says, “How is the faithful city become an harlot!” was confirmed by the SDA Leaders to be referring to the SDA Church.

“Babylon is said to be a harlot.” 4SOP 233 (Therefore, Harlot means Babylon.)

“Ichabod!” – the glory is departed. In 1903 God unerringly pronounced the SDA church and its organizational structure to be the harlot of Babylon, but He did not pronounce them to be Babylon fallen! So many confuse this in their minds. You must first be Babylon before you can be Babylon fallen! (please refer to page 2). This same history is again being repeated with the SDA church!) The SDA church was NOT Babylon in 1893, but by 1903 she was denounced by God thru Sis. White being the harlot of Babylon. But God in His mercy gave the church a period of time to repent and to come back to God as His faithful bride once again. Unless the SDA church, she goes on in 8T250, “with all her own backsliding [A], shall repent and be converted [B]” and to stand “on the platform of eternal truth [C]”, then “she will be healed.”

A- What makes her backsliding? “It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy.” ST, February 19, 1894 (3ST 99).

B- Did she made any change? “After I received word in regard to the excellent meeting of confession and unity that had been held in Battle Creek I was writing in my diary and was about to record the thankfulness I felt because a change had come, when my hand was arrested, and there came to me the words: "Write it not. No change for the better has taken place.” 8T 231.(Aug. 4, 1903)

C- They can no more stand in the platform of truth because they were govern by worldly policy. “If we refuse to do this, if we continue to link up with the world, and to look at every matter from a worldly standpoint, we shall become like the world. When worldly policy and worldly ideas govern our transactions, we cannot stand on the high and holy platform of eternal truth.” 4BC 1142.
“The world is represented in the apostate churches who are trampling upon the Word of God, transgressing His holy law.” UL 285.
“Our platform is the law of God, in which we are enjoined to observe the Sabbath day; for, as is distinctly stated in the thirty-first chapter of Exodus, the observance of the Sabbath is a sign between God and His people.” 7T 122.
“God is leading a people out from the world upon the exalted platform of eternal truth, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” 3T 446.
“I was shown three steps-- the first, second, and third angels' messages…God had led them along step by step, until He had placed them upon a solid, immovable platform.” EW 258-259.

Yet instead of making repentance, they continued to grow worse in “hopeless apostasy” and rebellion against God and His truth that “will result in the loss of many souls.”
“Some seem determined to continue doing those things that brought the expression of the displeasure of God upon those who would not heed admonition and warnings. They have kept up a continual defiance against God, and warfare against the testimonies of reproof that He has sent… Much has been done to hinder the advancement of the great work that God has committed to His people, -- the proclamation of the last gospel message to all nations and kindreds and tongues and peoples…”
“Many will never, never have eternal life unless they see the sinfulness of their course of action, and realize how greatly it has dishonored God. They are not servants of Christ, because they do not do His works. The Lord says, Proclaim My message… Many have become corrupted in faith, corrupted in principle. Many have dishonored God and sold themselves to sin, and in word and deed have helped others on in the strange paths they have chosen, until they do not know what true religion is. They have sanctified faith for worldly favor, and are leavened with that which is opposed to righteousness. At first they felt some compunction of conscience, but they refused to turn back, and now hardness of heart is preparing them for hopeless apostasy, and the judgments of God. The appeals of their Saviour have been resisted, His mercy abused, His provisions of His redeeming love, made by infinite sacrifice, rejected… In the camp there have been many traitors in disguise, and Christ knows every one of them. God has been dishonored by disloyal subjects, who, where Christ on the earth today in human form, would cry, ‘Crucify Him, crucify Him.”..
“That which has been done since the General Conference held at Oaklandin 1903 will result in the loss of many souls. Men who might have stood in clear light, doing valiant service as ministers of the Gospel and medical missionaries, have been accepting false theories and sophistries which originated with the father of lies, and yet they do not realize that they have changed.”
